Hey! My name is Nikolaos Finizio (sometimes written Nicola Finizio) and I’m an Italian-Greek 2D animator and 2D FX artist based in the UK.

Most recently I have worked as a lead 2D FX animator on SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE, for which I won an ANNIE award for Outstanding FX in an Animated Feature and a VES award for Outstanding FX Simulations in an Animated Feature.

Over the years I have been a guest teacher at international animation schools like Gobelins Paris, IED Milano and I’ve had the chance to work for some amazing clients like Sony Imageworks, Netflix, Riot Games, Adult Swim, Sergio Pablos Animation Studios…
